Beschreibung

ViewRNA Tissue Assay Fluorescence kits enable an in situ hybridization (ISH) method for the simultaneous detection of one to four RNA targets (mRNA, non-coding RNA, or microRNA) at single-copy sensitivity. These kits combine bright Alexa Fluor 488, Alexa Fluor 594, Alexa Fluor 546, Alexa Fluor 647, and Alexa Fluor 750 dyes that are visualized using fluorescence microscopes or high-content imagers. ViewRNA Tissue assay uses proprietary chemistry for the target-specific probe sets (RNA FISH probes) and branch DNA (bDNA) signal amplification for detection of specific signal.

With ViewRNA Tissue assays, you can achieve:

  • Robust, single RNA molecule detection in FFPE tissue sections, cryo-preserved sections, and cultured cells
  • Accuracy and specificity inherent to bDNA amplification technologies
  • Simultaneous detection of up to four RNA targets, including mRNA, noncoding RNA, and microRNA

Note: A ViewRNA probe set is required and can be purchased separately

ViewRNA Tissue Assay Fluorescence kits, when combined with a ViewRNA Tissue probe set (purchased separately), enables the detection of a single RNA target in tissues/cells using Alexa Fluor dyes. ViewRNA offers 6500 catalog probe sets. Any more probe sets can be designed at no extra cost.

To meet various experimental needs, the ViewRNA Tissue assay is provided in various kits and modules.

ViewRNA Tissue Fluorescence 4-Plex Assay Kit (green, orange, deep red, and near infrared)

With this kit four RNA targets can be detected using ViewRNA probe sets type 1, 4, 6, and 10 (ViewRNA probe sets are sold separately). This kit utilizes Alexa Fluor 546 for Type 1 probes, Alexa Fluor 488 for Type 4 probes, Alexa Fluor 647 for Type 6 probes, and Alexa Fluor 750 for Type 10 probes. RNA visualization requires FITC/GFP, TRITC/RFP, CY5/Deep Red, and Cy7/NIR microscope filter sets. An additional DAPI filter set is needed for nucleus counterstain with DAPI.

Up to four RNA targets can be detected when combined with ViewRNA Tissue modules (sold separately). RNA visualization requires a Cy5/Deep Red microscope filter set. An additional DAPI filter set is needed for nucleus counterstain with DAPI.

ViewRNA Tissue Alexa Fluor 488 (Type 4) Module

When combined with the ViewRNA Tissue Fluorescence 1-Plex Assay Core Kit (Cat. No. QVT0600) this module can detect an additional RNA target utilizing a Type 4 ViewRNA probe set. This module can be combined with other modules for additional RNA target detection. RNA visualization requires a FITC/GFP filter set.

ViewRNA Tissue Alexa Fluor 546 (Type 1) Module

When combined with the ViewRNA Tissue Fluorescence 1-Plex Assay Core Kit (Cat. No. QVT0600) this module can detect an additional RNA target utilizing a Type 1 ViewRNA probe set. This module can be combined with other modules for additional RNA target detection. RNA visualization requires a TRITC/RFP filter set.

Note: The ViewRNA Tissue Alexa Fluor 546 (Type 1) Module cannot be combined with the ViewRNA Tissue Alexa Fluor 594 (Type 1) Module because both use a Type 1 probe set and will spectrally overlap in most fluorescence microscopes.

ViewRNA Tissue Alexa Fluor 594 (Type 1) Module

When combined with the ViewRNA Tissue Fluorescence 1-Plex Assay Core Kit (Cat. No. QVT0600) this module can detect an additional RNA target utilizing a Type 1 ViewRNA probe set. This module can be combined with other modules for additional RNA target detection. RNA visualization requires a Texas Red filter set.

Note: The ViewRNA Tissue Alexa Fluor 594 (Type 1) Module cannot be combined with the ViewRNA Tissue Alexa Fluor 546 (Type 1) Module because both use a Type 1 probe set and will spectrally overlap in most fluorescence microscopes.

ViewRNA Tissue Alexa Fluor 750 (Type 10) Module

When combined with ViewRNA Tissue Fluorescence 1-Plex Assay Core Kit (Cat. No. QVT0600) this module can detect an additional RNA target utilizing a Type 10 ViewRNA probe set. This module can be combined with other modules for additional RNA target detection. RNA visualization requires a CY7/NIR filter set.
