DL-Tryptophan is an amino acid precursor of serotonin and melatonin. It is a dietary supplement for use as an antidepressant, anxiolytic, and sleep aid. DL-tryptophan also can be used as feed nutrition enhancer, antioxidants.

Anwendungen

Wasserlöslich. 10 g/l (20 °C), Hcl und Alkalien. Kaum löslich in Alkohol.

Hinweise
Kühl lagern. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten. Inkompatible Materialien sind starke Oxidationsmittel und starke Säuren.
